Ehron Baskin, NCIDQ
Senior Design Associate
Ehron grew up in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. Her interest in interior design lead her to California State University at Long Beach, where she earned a degree in Interior Design/Environmental Factors in 1991.
Early in her career, Ehron developed expertise in the model home industry while working at Creative Design Consultants in Costa Mesa. At Archetype International in Tustin, she learned about the commercial interiors market.
She launched her career in model home design when she started working for Design Tec in Newport Beach, where she immersed herself in different design styles and cultures. Since then, Ehron has worked with major home building developers throughout the United States and won several MAME (Marketing and Merchandising Excellence) awards.
At Design Tec, she designed several projects in Bangkok. She became adept at managing projects that were designed in the United States and completed in Thailand, a challenge that requires expertise in international communication, ordering, shipping and installation.
When Ehron and her husband moved back to the beautiful central coast in 1999, she brought her model home and international design experience to Design Collaborative. At dc2, she has grown her design experience to include large- and small-scaled residential remodels, new residential construction projects, and hospitality and commercial projects.
As a licensed member of NCIDQ, Ehron attends workshops and trade shows such as World Market, National Home Builders Conference, Kitchen and Bath Industry Show and Hospitality Design. Invitations to product training seminars by such manufacturers as Hansgrohe, Sherwin-Williams, Miele and Viking Range Corporation help her to grow as a progressive designer and keep current with the newest codes and trends on the market.
When Ehron is not at the office, she can often be found with her husband at a local athletic field watching their two sons play baseball, football or basketball. In her spare time, she enjoys training for local half marathons and 10Ks.
